Support during life's experiences
Each person enters times in their lives where they benefit from additional support. Personal transitions, loss, stress, toxic relationships, pandemics.... lots of things happen that can make us feel out of control or helpless. Unfortunately, we often experience this while still reliving the patterns from the past, making it hard to see a way through.
We have not been taught how to navigate this. Your long division and multiplication skills from middle school aren't useful here!
Luckily, this is where counseling can come in to help.
Therapy is not always fun but it is such an invaluable resource on your journey.

Why Telehealth?
Our lives changed significantly in 2020 with the introduction of the Covid-19 pandemic.
We suddenly were expected to maintain "normalcy" when everything came to a halt. We adapted, relying on technology to replace our previous face-to-face interactions. Things have continued to change since, but through this we have learned that there are significant benefits to having therapy virtually.
It's by no means the same as being in person. There are pros and cons to each situation and I expect my practice to continue growing and changing as our lives do so. For now, we remain at our computers.
